Mallory Derrick

I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I picked up my first camera when I was 6, and I haven’t been able to put it down. When I was in high school I began taking photography seriously, and began taking photos for our various athletics teams. That’s when I found my passion for sports photography. I currently attend Northern Arizona University and am expecting to graduate in May 2026. I am finishing up a BFA in Visual Communication with an emphasis in graphic design and a BS in Strategic Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations. I work as a student photographer and graphic design for NAU athletics. Through this I am able to grow my skills and gain real world experience.
