Mallory Derrick

I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I picked up my first camera when I was 6, and I haven’t been able to put it down. When I was in middle school I began taking photography seriously, and later on in high school I joined the yearbook. That’s when I found my passion for sports photography. My junior and senior year I grew my skills and knowledge through taking photos at my high school sports games, as well as being the Editor-In-Chief of the yearbook committee. I graduated from Richardson High School in 2022 and I currently attend Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. I am studying visual communication with an emphasis in graphic design. I am employed as a photographer by NAU Athletics and I continue to grow my skill in sports photography everyday.
